This new collection of artwork is a representation of the juggling act that we may find ourselves in our everyday normal life.

Do you ever feel like you’re trying to balance many different things, everyday, just to get through the day?

Balancing rocks like the balancing of all life’s cares and responsibilities.

Balancing our dreams and current life circumstances;

Balancing our priorities; what has to be done now and what can be left ‘on hold’ for a little longer;

Balancing our work, school and life commitments from day to day;

Balancing relationships with family and friends and co-workers;

Balancing the Who, What and When’s of our lives just to make it from this day to the next;

This is ‘The Balancing Act’.

Painted on a beautiful wash of texture on A4 paper, the subtle earth-toned shapes sit atop each other, sometimes precariously, sometimes firmly, but balanced all the same. I love this autumnal and very earthy colour palette hence I have used it again in this series of paintings.
